Now, you ask the community to make H3 HD better, but why should community do something that Ubi should've done at the first place.Īs for H7 being the future (lol), did you forget that game was abandoned days after expansion was released? Did you forget that there are countless bugs in that 'game'? Did you forget that AI of the game is idiotic? However, Ubi is a sh** company, and what they did was a quick moneygrab with H3 HD. If Ubi was a decent company (lol), they would first release a whole H3 as HD (not only RoE) and make it compatible for existing mods (alternative was to contact modders and help them with making the mods compatible). Community has done a lot for the whole Heroes franchise (and is still doing it), which can't be said for Ubi. It made the game much better, and more versatile. Second, the community gave you WoG, ERA, HotA, VCMI, countless mods, etc, for Heores 3. But saying that about the community shows how little you understand it.įirst of, name one thing that Ubi's HD gives, that original H3 doesn't have (and don't say graphics, it does not give anything to the game that will make it fun for you again). Unfortunately, these community posts are deep in nostalgia heroes 3. Send Instant Message | Send E-Mail | View Profile | Quote Reply | Link ![]() ![]() What? H3 HD was pure ROE, that is vanilla h3 with the first balances patches, it doesn't even have the expansions, it has literally less content than h3 complete, why would anyone play it instead of original h3? If you want an example of a game that had a good HD remake, that was AoE II, it doesn't only have the original expansion, but it also has 3 new ones (one of them which was made by fans at first, think of HotA), h3 hd was nothing but a lousy cash-grab by ubisoft. Mods heroes 3 hd I would take in this case more than classic heroes 3! If you talk about resolution then there's the HD mod which also adds a lot more features. H3 had pre-rendered graphics made in 3d, h3 hd ubi has a photoshop filter applied on them. The HD version was an opportunity to do something about heroes 3 and do not turn away from graphics today. This comes from someone who has modded h7 extensively. H7 was already dead before it was released. Hue hue hue, h7 is the future? Don't make me laugh. The game is still the same and no more than 2000 modes will save it, and the future is at Heroes 7, which is better than repair. ![]()
